The first Kaleido talk was held at the Holokleria Church in Pretoria in March 2017.
It has been a while since I had to do public speaking so a little nervous at first. It was a small group of ladies who got together on a Saturday afternoon to help pack goodies for the less privileged ladies in their community. I loved the warm and friendly welcome and kindness and love so obviously shared between them. I totally felt at home. At first I planned to stick to the message I had prepared and shared here in my previous post, but as it was already available to them online and with the limited time we had together, I needed to get to the point and share the most important part and that is the message that as women and generally sensitive believers, we need to remember that God has a purpose with us and all that we experience. It is to grow us in Him and for the benefit of the whole Body in Christ. So I shared away about my journey as a Highly Sensitive person. I tried to encourage them that when life gets hard and world's noise is to much, we can turn to God for help and answers. He always answers us back in His time, but he does answer. I could see God using my limited words to touch their hearts and that they identified with my story was for certain. I hope that they left encouraged and filled with hope for the future.
